GATR Custom Cooler Pads are 6 mm Marine Mat pads — the same material used for boat decking — with your logo, name or artwork CNC-cut or laser-burned into them, bonded to the lid of any GATR cooler. Lid-top pads run $70 (Egg) to $110 (GATR 110); front inserts and combos are on the per-size pad pages, available to all of our account holders. Made in GATR's Thibodaux, Louisiana shop with a digital proof available before anything is cut.

A printed logo sits on a cooler. A GATR custom pad becomes part of it. We cut your artwork into a 6 mm sheet of MarineMat — the closed-cell material used for boat decking — and bond it to the lid, so the finish is non-slip, heat-deflecting and built to live outdoors, and the logo is cut into the material rather than printed on top of it. It is why corporate buyers come back every year: it is the gift that gets used, not shelved.
Two methods, chosen by the artwork. Large, bold, minimalist logos are CNC-cut, which removes the top layer to expose the color beneath — a two-tone effect. Fine detail, small text and photographs are laser-burned onto the top layer. Some designs get both. Standard stock is slate gray on black or toffee on black, which suit engraving and match most cooler colors; larger runs can order a custom color.
How an order runs: pick the cooler size, choose lid top on this page (front inserts, lid-and-front combos and color-inlay lids are on the per-size pad pages), add your artwork and details, and check out. Extremely fine artwork may not cut cleanly — contact us before ordering if you are unsure. A digital rendering is sent for approval on request, and the clock starts when you approve it: allow three to four weeks for delivery, or ask about rush.
Ordered with a cooler, the pad is installed free. Ordered later, it is a ten-minute job with rubbing alcohol, a dry fit and a hair dryer — the steps are below the FAQ. Customized orders cannot be returned, so check the proof carefully.

Yes. Upload your artwork at checkout; GATR CNC-cuts or laser-burns it into the pad. Extremely detailed logos may not cut cleanly on a front insert — contact GATR before ordering if unsure. GATR does not design artwork.
Yes. Order the size you need on this page (or the pads-only listing on the per-size page) and install it yourself: clean the lid with rubbing alcohol, dry-fit, warm the surface and the adhesive with a hair dryer, peel and press from one end. Install above 60°F.
No. The pad sits on the outside of the lid and does not touch the insulation or the gasket; if anything it absorbs some heat before it reaches the cooler.

Orders placed for in-stock items typically ship within the same business day or the day following. All orders placed on in-stock items using free in store pickup will be notified via email once the order is fulfilled and may be picked up at any time during normal business hours.
