We believe putting a "__ Days of Ice Retention" label on our coolers would be misleading. While most of our customer reviews note several days to even a week of ice retention in the colder months, many factors can alter results - like frequency of opening, type of ice used, location and temperature of the cooler, and so forth. To maximize your GATR's ice retention, visit our blog post here for best tips.
Short answer, no. While we produce as many items as we can stateside, like apparel and accessories, some products just aren't realistic for us at this time. While we remain hopeful to one day bring our American designed product to the states for manufacturing, our small business still helps to support thousands of American families here from warehouse distribution, delivery and beyond.
Yes, we do. You can find replacement parts for nearly all cooler and drinkware items under the Accessories page.
Sounds like you lost your rubber gasket. Take off the drain cap and check for the piece of rubber. If it's missing, you may have lost it. Simply replace it with a standard garden hose o-ring, and you'll be as good as new.

Generally, we work on a two to three week turnaround for all custom work on coolers and drinkware. For boat projects, we run closer to three to four weeks. While we do strive for the quickest turnaround on all custom work, things like artwork delays, shop workflow and time of year may slow things down. If you're in need of something with a rush turnaround, please call the shop directly before placing your order.
GATR does not design artwork for custom cooler and drinkware orders, and graphic design fees are not included in our pricing. Our ordering process will prompt the customer to upload the artwork at the time the order is placed. That said, if your artwork requires some tweaking in regards to placement or application on our products, our art experts will do their best (with your consent) to make sure the creative you submit, offers the best quality output.
The same material that we use for boat decking projects, is the same material used for our custom cooler pads - MarineMat. Not only is this material built to withstand the outdoors, but it adds another level of customization and function to your cooler.
Generally speaking, most rotomolded coolers are built and constructed very similarly. Where GATR differs, is our unique signature details across product lines and our dedication to service. Our small business prides ourselves on offering a "local touch", whether you're a customer down the road or across the country.

All custom drinkware is produced by paint ablasion, better known as laser engraving. This process involves the artwork being burnt through the powder coat paint on the drinkware item, revealing the artwork in the stainless steel below. Any laser engraving done on uncoated stainless steel drinkware will appear black. GATR notes the front of all drinkware as the side with the GATR logo. All secondary logos are placed on the backside unless otherwise requested by the customer. Most artwork is applied to the top center of all drinkware items at an average placement of 3" x 3". For extremely wide logos, a vertical application may work best. GATR’s art experts may edit or stack artwork to better suit the placement area, if approved by the customer.
All custom pads created using the CNC involve cutting the artwork detail into the first layer of pad, exposing the layer underneath, offering a two-color custom option. Due to the width of the CNC bit, artwork that is extremely detailed maybe better suited for the laser. All custom pads created using the laser involve the artwork being laser burned atop the first layer of pad. With the laser’s fine point detail, it makes a great option for artwork with fine lines, photography, and excessive detail. For the best quality output, some artwork may require a combo of both CNC and laser.
