No. The wheels are designed so the cooler stays stabilized in place — in a truck bed, a buggy or a boat — until it is lifted from the opposite end. Then it rolls.
Yes. The lid is textured and built to double as a casting platform, so it takes your weight on a boat deck. Keep the latches closed when you do.

Most owners report several days from a full GATR 70 with Wheels, and up to a week in cooler months. GATR does not print a "days of ice" figure because pre-chilling, shade, ice type, how full it is and how often it is opened change the result more than the cooler does. The cooler itself is not manufactured in the USA. GATR designs it in Thibodaux, Louisiana, produces apparel and accessories stateside, and does every customization — cooler pads, engraving, printing — in its own Thibodaux shop.
A limited lifetime warranty on the rotomolded shell (lid and base) against defects in materials and workmanship, plus 365 days on wear parts such as handles and drain assemblies. Normal wear, misuse and ice-retention performance are not covered. Claims go to info@gatrcoolers.com with the order number.
Yes. GATR cuts custom MarineMat pads for the GATR 70 with Wheels in its Thibodaux shop — front-insert pads from $40, lid-top pads from $80 — and offers full-color logo printing. Standard turnaround is three to four weeks after you approve the digital proof. Request a quote on the custom shop page.
Yes. The two stainless-steel bottle openers double as locking plates, so a standard padlock through the lid and base keeps the GATR 70 with Wheels shut in a truck bed or on a dock. Most standard padlocks fit; a padlock with an extra-thick shackle may not fit the holes.
Yes — every order over $75 ships free within the USA, so the GATR 70 with Wheels qualifies on its own. In-stock coolers typically ship the same or next business day; customized coolers ship when the custom work is complete.
Orders placed for in-stock items typically ship within the same business day or the day following. All orders placed on in-stock items using free in store pickup will be notified via email once the order is fulfilled and may be picked up at any time during normal business hours. Custom orders are shipped as soon as they are completed.
